- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My son Gabriel broke his left femur when he was 6 from a fall on his school playground. The x ray showed the bone completely snapped in half, at approximately the mid-point. Gabriel's mother and I were very concerned as you might imagine. He is was a very athletic little boy at the time and we were worried that he would never regain his form due to the extent of the fracture. Dr Siegel used a minimally invasive technique to fuse Gabriel's femur together. Today, he is 9 and remains an elite level baseball and hockey player. His bone has healed with no limitation. X rays show no differential from his right leg. I hope Gabe never requires Dr Siegel's talent again, but it is very comforting to know she is there.April 26, 2017by Joseph D. Elie
